Eric Clapton at the Bridgestone Arena
At the end of the concert, after the encore, everyone was chanting for Layla, Layla, Layla, but then the house lights came on and it was over. Most people started to boo. I mean, Layla is his main signature song that you really want to hear played live, and you expect him to play it. It was a great show, with a lot of "Chicago Blues" sounding songs, but he played many new songs that I didn't recognize. They all sounded great, but he only played about 7 or 8 of his expected signature songs. Mid-way through the show, he sat down to play several cool acoustic songs.
For his encore, he played Sunshine of your Love and High Time We Went, a Joe Cocker cover. I am pretty upset about him not playing Layla! Clapton played for about an hour and 50 minutes.
